Free 3D model viewer, No sign-up
Open any STL, OBJ, PLY, GLB or glTF file in your browser and see what is in it: the shape, the size, the volume and the triangle count. A GLB also gets what a game engine cares about: draw calls, textures and pivot.

What the numbers mean
Triangles say how heavy the file is for a game or a web page; tens of thousands is normal for a generated or scanned model, millions means it wants the remesh tool. The dimensions are in whatever unit the file was saved in, and the viewer says when that looks like metres, because a slicer will read the same numbers as millimetres.
Volume is the solid volume, which is what a print costs. If the model is not closed the volume is an estimate and the repair tool will say what is open.
Questions
- Which formats open?
- STL (binary and ASCII), OBJ, PLY, GLB and embedded glTF. The format comes from the file's own bytes rather than its name, so a GLB saved as .stl still opens.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The file is read in your browser, which is why it opens instantly and why you can use it on models you would not hand to a website.
- Why does my model look the wrong size?
- 3D files store numbers without units. glTF and GLB mean metres by convention, slicers read STL as millimetres. For an STL the viewer flags it when a model looks metre-scale, since that is a 1000× difference in a slicer; for a GLB it gives the size in metres, as a game engine reads it.
- What does it show for a GLB?
- What a game engine will make of it: triangles, draw calls (one per mesh part), materials, textures with their sizes, the memory those textures take on the graphics card uncompressed, the size in metres, and where the pivot is. If the origin is in the middle of the model, it would sink halfway into the floor in Godot, Unity or Blender, and the viewer offers the same file with the pivot at the bottom centre.
- Do I need an account or to sign up?
- No. There is no sign-up, no login and no email, and no limit: the tool runs in your browser, so there is nothing to meter. Use it as often as you like, on as many files as you like.
